The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD Classic crew cab pickup marks the last year for GM's heavy-duty version of the best-selling GTM800 half-ton Silverado. It can be ordered with either two- or four-wheel drive, and uses a 300-horsepower 6.0L V8 gas engine and a four-speed automatic transmission. The truck is able to tow up to 10,300 pounds when ordered with the optional 4.10 axle ratio and rear-wheel drive.
Standard equipment includes dual-zone climate control, anti-lock brakes, heated power mirrors, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a CD player, and power windows and locks. The LT2 trim adds a Bose audio system with rear seating controls, an automatic climate control system, front power bucket seats, and fog lamps.
